TekScience was founded in 2012 by Richard Baldwin as the architectural consulting solution to worldwide enterprises that require extraordinarily well-designed, real-time architectures.  For global companies, for which the sun never sets on their operations, this means new operational procedures, heightened data quality considerations, self-service BI, the elimination of functional overlaps, and enhanced abstraction between services and their data.  These advanced concepts are delivered by an advanced architecture conceptualized and delivered by TekScience.

Since its founding, TekScience has helped some of America's largest technical companies using patented real-time architectural solutions.  Among the distinguished companies are Apple, Microsoft, AT&T and T-Mobile, each with organically developed architectures, standards, and data frameworks used to run their businesses.

In 2013, TekScience expanded by investing in off-premises sensing and computing. Its first investment was in IoT (the Internet of Things) embedded systems technologies in medicine and aviation.  The company's first Bio-tech product enabled surgeons to remotely monitor their patient's ultrasound in real-time, using a highly available and secure cloud-based architecture.  In the field of aviation technology, TekScience is producing its first embedded product for general aviation that will graphically enrich the data set a pilot uses to safely and efficiently conduct a flight.

In 2018, TekScience will expand further by investing in product sales technologies and architectures.  Branded sales of its own products is expected to begin in the Fall of 2018.
