2007
Completed and delivered the architectural solution to activate America's first iPhones at Cingular. System was recognized by the Wall Street Journal in 2007 for having produced zero activation errors. Activation middleware was recognized in 2007 by CIO Magazine as the "Best in Class".
2008
Completed and delivered the architectural solution to evaluate millions of data packets per second of incoming cellular data to detect and mitigate possible fraud. This solution saved AT&T Mobility $3-4M per month in data fraud expense. TekScience holds a patent on this solution.
2009-2012
Assigned to 10 architectural teams at Microsoft in areas such as Azure, BI, architectural assessments of eCommerce, Tax Computation and Dynamic Product Pricing. Implemented prototype of FL3, Microsoft Research's fuzzy logic algorithm to demonstrate how to determine the reason a Customer was calling Microsoft - before answering the call.
2013
Proof of concept embedded power generation project for remote or primitive geographies.
Proof of concept embedded flexible LCD display device
Completed the architectural solution for a worldwide and enterprise-wide, failsafe tax computing framework for Microsoft. Worked directly with the Indian development team on its implementation. The failsafe tax system has been deployed for use worldwide, thus replacing nine redundant tax computing systems.
Completed and delivered the architectural concept for a self-service enterprise-wide BI solution. This concept included an automated metadata service and BI data object pool that enabled users to create their own data abstracts unassisted.
2014-2015
Prototyped the real-time conversion and transport of a patient's ultrasound monitor data to the Azure cloud. The new capability provides a vascular surgeon virtual access to a patient's post-surgical tissue status and assists the surgeon in detecting early tissue morbidity. Drafted an efficient electronic interface and printed its circuit board that made use of modern surface-mounted discrete components.
2015-2016
Completed an architectural assessment, product bake-off and ultimately the product recommendation for an enterprise workflow management solution for T-Mobile. The product recommendation was adopted.
Completed an architectural assessment of T-Mobile's monitoring and instrumentation framework, created an advisory group of senior decision makers from Network Engineering, DevOps, Development, Cellular Engineering, Solution Architects, IT and Business. Published all relevant information online for the benefit of all asset owners.
2017
Developed an algorithm for a general aviation product that computes the ground speed, wind direction, wind correction angle, GPS location, and true course of an aircraft in real-time.
2018-2023
Working primarily with Internet of Things appliances and systems, developed functional robotics devices. Implementations included facial recognition using machine learning and artificial intelligence. Cloud-based controlling software and wireless connectivity enabled remote software updates and troubleshooting as needed.
Created 3D-printed models and activated them using embedded systems microcontrollers and software to consistent with design criteria and use. All software was written in Python.
Designed printable electronic circuits used to manufacture miniature circuit boards. Populated these boards with modern surface mounted components and processors.
